Founded in 1883, the Alliance Fran\u00e7aise is now one of the world\u2019s largest cultural and educational networks. It is present on five continents, in 135 countries and 829 cities. Around the world, it works to promote and introduce people to the French language and Francophone cultures.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

What is an Alliance Fran\u00e7aise?
<\/strong>Each Alliance Fran\u00e7aise is an independent, non-profit association governed by local legislation. The institutions are independent of any political or religious affiliation and carry out their activities autonomously, adapting them to the needs of their local communities, while being part of a shared international network.<\/span><\/span><\/p>

Our mission
<\/strong>Alliance Fran\u00e7aise institutions have three core missions:
<\/span><\/p>

  1. French language teaching <\/b>for all ages, from early childhood onwards.<\/li>
  2. Promoting, raising awareness of and administering the internationally recognised DELF and DALF French language examinations<\/b>.<\/li>
  3. Introducing people to French and Francophone cultures<\/b>, while promoting cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue.<\/li><\/ol>

    The Alliance Fran\u00e7aise aims to create open, diverse and international communities through the French language, where language learning and cultural experiences are closely connected.<\/p>

    Alliance Fran\u00e7aise in Hungary
    <\/strong>In Hungary, the associations are present in five locations: Debrecen, Gy\u0151r\/Pannonhalma, Miskolc, P\u00e9cs and Szeged.<\/span><\/p>

    In addition to general and professional French language courses, the Alliances Fran\u00e7aises offer French language training from early childhood onwards, according to individual needs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    All five Alliances Fran\u00e7aises are official DELF\/DALF examination centres, providing French learners with the opportunity to obtain an internationally recognised language certificate.<\/p>

    In the 5 Alliances Fran\u00e7aises of Hungary, it is possible to take the DELF (A1, A2, B1, B2) and DALF (C1, C2) language exams. These monolingual French exams are aligned with the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and are officially recognized in Hungary as well as worldwide. Each exam consists of four parts, which assess the following language skills: listening comprehension, reading comprehension, writing skills, and speaking skills.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    To pass the exam, candidates must obtain at least 50 points out of 100 in total, as well as a minimum of 5 points out of 25 in each section.
